My Siblings Part Three: Lil' Lady Maeby

Lil' Lady Maeby

I'm mixing things up today - instead of covering my (many) siblings by seniority, I'm going to tell you a bit about my youngest sister - Maeby. I mentioned a month or so ago that Maeby is actually an evil Zuni warrior doll. There's more to Maeby than that, though. So much more.

Maeby's from either Lake Isabella or the planet Yavin. In both places, the majority of Maeby's people adhere to the worship of the sun.

Maeby's native language is unlike any other language I've heard - she communicates almost exclusively in shrieks. When that's not effective (and it rarely is, as none of us speak her language), she uses her razor-sharp tongue and claws to express her needs. There's also several Maebys present at any one time in various parts of the house. This is the only way to explain how she's downstairs, then immediately upstairs, then immediately outside the front door, having accidentally been shut out. Then, next thing you know, she pops out from behind something else!

Maeby's favorite pastimes are shrieking:

...lounging on top of the television:
...sitting in boxes:

...and doing anything she can to draw attention to herself. Maeby always manages to get right in the front of any pictures:

...even when I'm
clearly the intended subject (can you imagine the nerve?)!
Maeby's favorite foods are chives and finely-chopped jerky. Maeby is closest to Buster...

Me...

and Lil' Henry Hudson, with whom she costars in the Black and Blue Show - a mixed martial arts performance so controversial it can only be performed in private venues. For obvious intellectual property reasons, I'm unable to post any pictures of the performance here (tickets are available for upcoming tour dates).

She's also adopted Finny and William as her parents. William's a bit more accepting of this than Finny!

Not matter how busy she gets, Maeby reminds us you should always take time to stop and eat the flowers.
